About Pastor Sue Beadle

Having received a B.A. in Comparative Study of Religion from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, I was ordained in 1990. I served as associate pastor of Hope Lutheran Church in Long Grove, Illinois until receiving God’s call in April 2006 to serve as pastor of Christ Lutheran Church.

My husband, Rod, and I have two teenage daughters, Stephanie and Jennifer. We are also “blessed” with two Labrador Retrievers—Abby and Gus. Since my children don’t want me to use them as sermon illustrations any longer, Gus has kindly filled in!

It is a joy and privilege to join the people of this congregation and community in serving God by serving others. We are a permission-giving church where people are encouraged, empowered, and equipped to use their God-given talents to share the gospel and grow God’s kingdom.
