Dear Parents,
What a fantastic February we had! The children were such good listeners at the Dental Assembly presented by Miss Marie. They truly enjoyed seeing, hearing and touching all the interesting items used to care for our teeth.
Valentine’s Day was a “love”ly holiday for everyone as we all shared special treats and cards. We hope the children enjoyed Dino Day and the exploding volcano as much as we did during science enrichment time! Pajama Day was fun as we snuggled our way through the day with music and bedtime stories!
This month we’ll be studying outer space and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. We’ll also enjoy a real “hands-on” experience at our Teddy Bear Clinic when we learn how to take good care of ourselves and our bear friends. We look forward to meeting Dr. Dianna (James Kim’s mother) as she visits with us during our Teddy Bear Clinic. Our science enrichment study this month will cover the solar system and learning about astronauts. We will also learn about the artist Matisse and the beautiful mosaics he created. And finally, we’ll close out our studies this month with the promise of Easter; that because of Jesus’ love we will live forever with Him. So let’s get ready for a wonderful month!
As a reminder for students enrolled for the 2010-2011 school year, the preschool will be providing each student with a standard school bag to use during their time at Christ Lutheran Preschool. It is not necessary to purchase a backpack for your child for next year. Remember, this is only for preschool students and does not include our Tot Co-op families for 2010-2011.
For those families traveling during Spring Break, we pray for safe travel and a happy return to classes again on April 5th.
